Written by tora

“When in Jaipur, enjoy your breakfast like Jaipurites.” We aren’t saying this, Sachin Tendulkar did and we totally agree with his mantra. The legendary cricketer is currently in the pink city aka Jaipur. In an Instagram post, he gave us a sneak peek into his Jaipur diaries which comprised some scrumptious food. Sachin started his day with a yummy breakfast platter, consisting of samosas, and kachoris with a range of flavourful chutneys. We could also see some mouthwatering savory delights served in other bowls. The best part of the meal? “Malai maar ke lassi” which was served in a Kulhad (earthen pot). “Kamal ki lassi (extremely good lassi),” said the cricketer, after taking a sip of the drink. In the caption, Sachin wrote, “The breakfast was so good, even the peacocks wanted a bite. They were singing praises of it as I ate. Listen in.” Have a look at Sachin Tendulkar’s breakfast indulgence:

4. Kalmi Vada

These deep-fried savories are a mix of lentils and tingling spices like hing and ajwain. Pair it with zesty pudina chutney and voila. A lip-smacking treat is ready.

5. Malai Lassi
